Starlight Cinema Experiences Barbados
Effective Date: 30 March 2026
This Rental Agreement & Liability Waiver (“Agreement”) is entered into between Starlight Cinema Experiences Barbados (“Company”) and the undersigned customer (“Renter”).
By booking, collecting, or using any equipment, the Renter agrees to the following terms:
1. Equipment Rental Agreement
The Company agrees to rent the following equipment to the Renter:
- Projectors
- Screens (standard or mega size)
- Audio equipment (speakers, etc.)
- Event accessories (tents, tables, popcorn machines, seating, etc.)
All equipment remains the property of Starlight Cinema Experiences Barbados at all times.
2. Pickup, Use & Return
- All rentals are pickup only unless otherwise agreed
- The Renter is responsible for safe transportation of all equipment
- Equipment must be returned on the agreed date and time
- Late returns may result in additional charges
3. Responsibility for Equipment
The Renter agrees to:
- Handle all equipment with care
- Use equipment only for its intended purpose
- Keep equipment protected from weather, damage, or theft
The Renter is fully liable for:
- Damage (minor or major)
- Loss or theft
- Misuse of equipment
Repair or replacement costs will be charged accordingly.
4. Setup & Operation Disclaimer
- The Company may provide basic setup guidance; however, the Renter is responsible for proper setup and operation
- The Company is not liable for technical issues resulting from incorrect setup or usage
5. Assumption of Risk
The Renter acknowledges and accepts all risks associated with the use of rented equipment, including but not limited to:
- Electrical hazards
- Equipment malfunction
- Trip or setup-related injuries
- Outdoor/environmental conditions
Use of equipment is entirely at the Renter’s own risk.
6. Liability Waiver & Release
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Renter:
- Releases Starlight Cinema Experiences Barbados from any and all liability
- Agrees not to hold the Company responsible for any injury, damage, or loss arising from use of the equipment
This includes:
- Personal injury
- Property damage
- Third-party claims
7. Indemnification
The Renter agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Starlight Cinema Experiences Barbados against any claims, damages, or expenses resulting from:
- Use or misuse of equipment
- Breach of this Agreement
- Negligence during the rental period
8. Weather & Outdoor Use
- The Renter assumes all risks related to weather conditions
- Equipment must not be used in rain or unsafe weather conditions
- Any weather-related damage is the responsibility of the Renter
9. Payment & Security Deposit
- Full or partial payment is required prior to rental
- A security deposit may be required and will be refunded upon safe return and inspection of equipment
- Deductions may be made for damages, missing items, or late returns
10. Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations must be made within 48 hours
- Deposits may be non-refundable
- Rescheduling may be offered at the Company’s discretion
11. Refusal of Service
The Company reserves the right to refuse rental if:
- The Renter fails to meet requirements
- There are concerns regarding misuse or safety
- Payment terms are not satisfied
12. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of Barbados.
13. Agreement & Acknowledgment
By signing below (or confirming electronically), the Renter:
- Confirms they have read and understood this Agreement
- Accepts full responsibility for the equipment
- Agrees to all terms outlined above

Photo/Video Use Consent
The Company may capture photos or videos of event setups for promotional purposes unless the Renter requests otherwise in writing.
